Obituary of Rosina Di Labio (Orsini)

Rosina Di Labio (Orsini), with heavy hearts we share her passing. She passed away peacefully in her home, March 1, 2026, at the age of 88, born in Chieti, Italy on March 11, 1937. She built a life rooted in family, resilience, generosity and Sunday dinners. Beloved daughter of the late Panfilo Orsini and the late Maria Di Primio. Beloved wife of the late Nicola Di Labio. Loving mother of Rolando (Lisa), Andreina (Christopher), Davide (Julia), Sara (Jeremie). Grandmother of Austin, Brianna (Greg), Slater, Mercedes, Darius, Olivia, and Sofia. Great grandmother of Leon and Nora. Sister of Umberto (late Amalia), late Iolanda (late Enrico), Ginetta (late Giovanni), late Vittorio (Bicetta), late Nicola (Iola), Gabriele (Veglia), Armando (Rosetta) in Italy. She also leaves behind her sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, Rita, Grabriella and Emidio in Ottawa and Graziella in Italy, as well as many spiritual brothers and sisters that have carried her forward spiritually, during her difficult times. Many thanks to her caregivers especially Rose and Berline. 

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering kindness, her hospitality and endless dinners. We will carry forward her lessons of love, patience and strength every day. 

Friends may pay respects at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Rd on Thursday March 5. Viewing will be from 11-2pm and a service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association in her memory.
