Obituary of Maria Bilalis

Maria Bilalis was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and person.  Whether it was to play a game of cards (and win), spend hours in her garden (forgetting to eat), fuss over her grandson (every day), or stubbornly refuse to stop, she enjoyed her life with us.  She spent her last hours with family and sadly left us on August 9, 2023, at the age of 89.  

We are truly blessed to have spent the time we did with her.  She was a second mother to her grandson and was not only a mother to her daughter but a friend.  She is survived by her two children, Roula and Lambros; her son-in-law, Steve; grandson, Thanasi; and siblings Basiliki, Mike, Roula, Evan, and Tom.  She left this world with a smile on her face to join her husband, Athanasios.  She will be missed but never forgotten.

Visitation is taking place on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Pinecrest Cemetary, 2500 Baseline Road.  The funeral service starts at 1:00 pm with a celebration of life for family and friends after.
