Obituary of Glenn Richard Calow
It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Calow announce his passing on January 8th, at the age of 76, after many years of challenging health issues.
Glenn will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Donna St. Germain, children; Dawn, Nicole (Craig), Sean (Julie), Alyssa (Phil) and Michelle, sister Dale (David), grandchildren; Max, Noah, Layne, Tyson, Pyper and Logan and numerous other family members and friends.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents, T. Arthur and Ethel, and brothers, Tom and Warren.
Glenn’s family will always remember his great zest for life, his incredible humour, his love of music and reading, his political leanings and his many stories that seemed to all start at the beginning of time as he was an incredible storyteller. But most of all, we will remember Glenn for his great and unwavering love for his children and his grandchildren, his greatest pride.
The family would like to thank Bayshore Health, Champlain LHIN, the palliative care team, the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice, so many people for their kind and loving care of Glenn during this past year.
Visitation will be held at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on January 19th, 2023, from 11:00am – 1:00pm with brief words of remembrance occurring around 12:00pm.
Anyone who wishes to join us in further celebrating Glenn’s life is welcome to join us afterwards at the Kanata Sports Club (Located above the Jack Charron Arena) any time after 1:30pm.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice or the Kanata Sports Club.
