Obituary of Dong Nguyen

Dong passed away peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Beloved husband of Anh-Tu Tran, loving father of Tu-Anh Tran Nguyen, Quynh-Anh Tran Nguyen and Minh-Anh Tran Nguyen, dear brother, uncle and great-uncle of his extended family in Canada & the USA, Dong has lived a full life.

It is difficult to find the words to describe Dong, he was unique and wonderful.  He lived life large both in character and in love. It did not matter if you were a stranger, a friend or family member, you were always greeted with open arms.  He has the most beautiful heart and is the kindest soul. He loved to mingle with his friends and spent time with his family. During his life, he spent most of his time in Vietnam to work and attended to the needs of his family. However, every time he visited his extended family and friends in Canada and the USA, he would spend every moment with everyone as much as he could. He was proud of his career and his life as in this quote from his favourite song:
