Obituary of Deana Henry

We are deeply saddened to announce that Deana June Henry passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 31, 2023 in Ottawa, ON, at the age of 63 surrounded by her loving children.

Deana is survived by her beloved mother, June Henry (nee Symonds), brother Glen (Kathryn) Henry, and former husband Paul Champion-Demers. Proud mother of Kelsey (Bryan) Langille, Tobie, and Quinton (Kayla) Champion-Demers. Loving Nanny to Charlie, Nolan, and Sawyer Langille. Aunt to Michael and David Henry. Predeceased by her beloved father Ted Henry and sister Catherine Olive.

Our family is eternally grateful to Mary Sinclair (the other half of the dynamic duo) for her incredible care, respect, and friendship with Deana through her final years of life. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses (with special recognition to Dr. Smith) who supported Deana throughout her life.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life with refreshments will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON, on Saturday February 11, 2023 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, with internment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
