Obituary of William John Wilson

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our father, William John Wilson in his 90th year. Leaving behind his children Virginia, Greg (Trish), Brett (Michelle) and grandchildren Aaron (Ames), Kyle (Briana), Sydney, Moira and great grandson Frey. Predeceased by his second son Todd, son-in-law Glynn and his wife of 62 years Dolores (Lorrie).

Dad was a Torontonian but moved to Ottawa to begin his 38-year career with Bell Canada and to raise his family. He was an active member of the community: involved with Little League, Scouts, Masons, Church, Legion and the Seniors’ Centre.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Queensway Carleton Hospital for their phenomenal dedication to his care and support to the family would be appreciated.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at the Pinecrest Cemetery. Visitation at 1:00p.m. with a service at 2:00p.m.
