Obituary of Franco Micucci

“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains.” 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Franco Antonio Micucci at the young age of 46. Beloved husband of Shirlene Micucci, loving father to Daisy and Nadya, devoted son to Domenico and Giuseppina Micucci, predeceased by his brother Mario. 

Franco's legacy will be one of profound kindness, gentility, patience, thoughtfulness, generosity and sincere love for everyone in his life, both family and friends. He was the living embodiment of integrity, humility and love.

Franco will prevail in his children, the memories we all hold so dear, and the people he now lives on through multiple organ donation. In death, Franco continues to provide life, an act so perfectly in line with his values.

Family would like to thank Dr Neilipovitz, the entire staff in the Ottawa Hospital ICU department and the Trillium Gift of Life Team.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 427 Booth Street. A Reception will follow from 11:00 am until 2:00 p.m. at Sala San Marco, 215 Preston Street.   In lieu of flowers please donate in Francs name to the charity of your choice.
