Obituary of Albanina Astri

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Albanina. She died peacefully in the arms of her soulmate Torquato. She will be forever remembered as a kind, loving woman whose greatest joy came from her family. Her happiest moments were watching everyone grow and thrive. She was the heart and soul of our family and her passing has left a huge void that can never be filled. She leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Torquato, her daughter Nora (Peter), her precious grandchildren Marina (Michael), Anthony (Robyn) and her great grandchildren Leo, Roman and Gia.  She adored them all so much. She is also survived by her sister-in laws Pasqua Scissons and Tina Catana as well as many nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank the paramedic team who showed so much kindness and compassion. 

Visitation will be Monday, July 10 from 10-1, followed by service and burial.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
