Obituary of Steve Forbes

It is with great sadness that the family of Steve "Grizz" Forbes announce his sudden passing on Friday, August 4, 2023, at age 69 years. Steve passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital surrounded by family at his bedside. 

He was an especially proud father of Colleen Forbes. Brother to Duaine (Shelagh), Gordon (Debbie), Debbie (Dave), Peter (Sonya). Uncle to Mike (Sam), Candice (Richard), Ashley (Frank), Robbie, Jessie, Alex, and Maya, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Steve was an avid story teller, who valued his friends and family greatly. A private burial for family will be held on September 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery. The family invites everyone to toast and share stories/ memories about Steve at his Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at his favorite place, Ogrady's Outpost, 25 Tapiola Crescent.
