Obituary of William Charlton

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Charlton, who departed this world on the morning of Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at the age of 85, in Ottawa. William was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He is survived by his loving wife, Myriam, with whom he shared a life filled with devotion and unwavering love. Together, they built a family that stands as a testament to their bond. William was a devoted father to his children, Patrick (Angela), Nathalie (Bill), and Michel (Adrienne), and his wisdom, kindness, and guidance will continue to shape their lives.

William was a proud and caring grampa to his cherished grandchildren, Alex, Victoria, Vanessa, Jonathan, Hugo, and Julia. His warmth, humour, and love enriched their lives and will be remembered with great affection.

A Private Celebration of William's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to honour his memory, share stories, and celebrate a life well-lived.

William's legacy is one of love, family, and kindness, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. We will forever hold him in our hearts, remembering the love and laughter he brought to our lives.
