Our hearts and love are with you, Johnette and Jason and Lori and grandchildren. We will miss Jim profoundly. From the days when we were crazy teens through our days with our young families in Ottawa, and all our happy get togethers at Head Lake and Round Lake, we couldn't love you guys more. The world is a sadder place without Jim Keay but we are so happy and proud to have been able to call him our good friend throughout all those years, and saying his name will forever bring a smile.

Very sad news for the Ford community in Ottawa. I knew Jim for over thirty years and he was a man I truly admired for his energy, integrity and boundless optimism. A "car guy" through and through. My condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences to the Keay family. As “MotorMouth”, I had the pleasure of being the announcer at Capital City Speedway when “The Big Guy” raced there. I also played softball on the same team as Jim, Ned Kelly’s Dingos a long time ago. What always amazed me was his capacity to be a successful car dealership owner while at the same time be just one of the guys who showed up and did his best at whatever the challenge.
He has left us all with memories to be cherished.
Regards,
Brian Goudge

Went to high school with Jim. He was always a lot of fun and we did get into some trouble at times. We had a taste for beer way back then. Loved getting together with the old gang and going for Italian sandwiches and beer at the Monarch Tavern. It did a lot of reminiscing and I had a lot of laughs. Jim was larger than life and loved cars. Still remember his first car I believe it was a 38 Buick humpback.
