Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with Garry’s family. His love for you all never went unnoticed. Garry and I always remained friends from our teen age years. We were together when he bought his first car ,a 1958 Ford.
He was a true friend , gentleman and someone who truly cared about those close to him.
Thank you Garry for being who you were.

We are truly shocked and so saddened to hear of Garry's passing, and we have very fond memories of meeting when Wheeler Street was a construction zone in the late 80's. Garry was always such a friendly ear to bend, he was so kind and interested in how you were doing, and those Corvettes: a great source of envy and interest. His easygoing nature and eager participation in our community activities like the block BBQs, garage sales and the kids' Halloween activities were always greatly appreciated. Last year, we bumped into Garry after such a long lapse yet it was as though time had stood still. We will forever cherish that moment. Brenda, Kelly and family: please accept our sincerest condolences. His love for you was so obvious as Garry always shone whenever talking about you. May he rest in peace.

To the Emmerson family. My condolences on Garry's passing. Needless to say our chats from way back at Dave's garage, and at Carl's and Kelly's front porch home were mostly about cars, finding a good mechanic, and vettes. He's had a mix Burt Reynold's and George Chavalo looks driving that white topless vette on those hot summer days. R.I.P.

The Emmerson Family,
Was saddened by the news of Garry's passing. Will miss seeing him in his white Corvette, he sure loved that car. Garry touched many in his life and his thoughtful and positive way made it easy to be his friend. He did not let the tragedy in his life change him as it would have been an easy road to take. In almost 40 years of knowing Garry, never heard him speak ill of anyone.
He set a good example,it was my pleasure to know him.
Respectfully
Hank McTavish

To Gerald Emerson and the entire Emerson family. Please accept my condolences on the loss of such a great person. Gerald I doubt you remember me, but I worked at Canadian tire just over 30 years ago in the hardware department and I always remember you as a good guy who joked a lot and it sounds like your brother was just about the same type of person. I’m very sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace

Daddy, I don't know how to do this life without you. It doesn't feel real, you can't really be gone. I am so lost without you, please come back to me. I will forever miss you. I am so beyond grateful for our relationship and everything, EVERYTHING you did for me my whole life and for Carl and Noah. Who is going go Christmas shopping for mom with me and listen to New York Christmas? Who is going to make us tea so we can have our heart to hearts? Who is going to hang out with Noah and Loki while Carl and I go to baseball? Who is going to ask Noah to go to Costco for hot dogs? Who is going to hold me so tight that the world doesn't feel asl scary? Who is going to tell me c'mon my girl, don't cry, it will be ok. Who is going to take Carl's clothes he doesn't want anymore and who is going to call me to help him with something? Who is going to hold my hand when the world feels to big. I hope I continue to live my life to make you proud. Please be my guardian angel and watch over me, and carl and mom. Say hi to Boo for me. I miss you with my whole being and I love you greater than the depths of the ocean. Love Daddy's Little Girl
