Obituary of Adelaide Murray

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 with her son Robert by her side.  She is also survived by her sister Roberta Widenmaier, brother-in-law Jack Widenmaier, niece Darlene Widenmaier and nephew Wayne Widenmaier.  Addy was a loving mother who raised her son as a single parent.  She gave to many in need and lived her life thinking of others before herself.  She supported many family and women in their goal of higher education in challenging circumstances.  She was a devout Christian and member of the United Church of Canada.  Her legacy is cemented in history at Algonquin College.  A funeral service will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at 1:00PM.  She will be laid to rest with her parents at the Navan Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
