Dear Orville and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. It has been many years since I have seen her, yet my memory of her and your family's kindness to me remain ever present. Joyce was kind and caring not just to family but to all of us young people in the church. She indulged my quirky ideas, allowing me to take her baby home for a weekend, looking back I'm amazed that she had such confidence in my abilities to care for a young child. It was these opportunities that allow me to grow and develop into the woman and mother I am today. May God watch over you and your family knowing that she was a woman of faith.
