Obituary of Stefano Reitano

Peacefully on Thursday March 21^st, at the age of 90, Stefano Reitano passed away surrounded by his loving family.

Established as the finest tailor in the Ottawa/Outaouais area and a proud cottager. Stefano loved being outdoors and sharing his time, and stories, with family and friends.  A devoted husband of Suzanne (née Lalonde). A loving and devoted father of Mary (Dave), Steve, and Tina (Luc). A proud and loving nonno of Michael (Karol-Ann), Chloé (Felicia), Mélissa and Luka. He is survived by his good friend and sister-in-law Maria. Predeceased by his sister Giuseppina Foti, and his brothers Angelo, Francesco, Giovanni, Antonio, and Rocco. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 427 Booth Street in Ottawa on Saturday April 6^th at 11:30AM and will be followed by a celebration of life at the Preston Event Centre, 523 St. Anthony Street Ottawa. The family will receive condolences at the Church beginning at 11:00AM. Please join us in the celebration of Stefano’s beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
