Obituary of Hajrija Doroski

Hajrija Doroski Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on April 7th at the age of 81. Born Hajrija Burdalic in Zenica, Jugoslavia in 1942. She was beloved wife to the late Toplica Doroski. Together they came to Canada and built their life. Loving mother of twins Alexandra and Heidi Doroski. And loving Baba to Angelo and Tommy. And adoring Prababa to Elyas. She is survived by sisters back home in Bosnia, and her best friend Sada. 

Hajrija and Toplica came to Canada after briefly living in Germany after Jugoslavia. They came to Canada in hopes for a better life. They conquered that, raising a beautiful family and enjoying life to its fullest. 

Hajrija was an amazing, loving, hard working woman who did everything for her family. She adored cooking for her family especially her homemade Pogaca, Paprikash, Sarma and Babalesia.

Her and her husband loved animals, the last one being her baby Max. She would cook fresh cevapi and chicken for her babies. 

Hajrija will always be remembered for her beautiful laugh, her heartwarming advice, and always being there for everyone. She loved all, and was loved by many. 

She was a beautiful, strong, kind woman and one of a kind. Amazing mama, and the best Baba. 

Thank you to all who were in her life. She loved you all.
