Obituary of Fulvio Pluviati

It is with profound sadness that the family of Fulvio Pluviati announce his peaceful passing, surrounded by family, on April 30^th, 2024, at 92.

Fulvio is predeceased by his beloved partner, Eugenia, survived by his two daughters, Daniela (Scott) and Lore (Paolo), and adored three grandchildren Ethan, Zachary, Alexaré (Mitch), and two great-grandchildren Adelina, and Deklan.

Fulvio was born in Bassano del Grappa on November 25, 1931, before emigrating to Canada from Italy in his youth. (1956). With few resources and a rudimentary knowledge of English, he established himself as a skilled millwright, dedicating years to his craft.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Fulvio found genuine joy in the embrace of family and dear friends. He reveled in simple pleasures like apple picking, leisurely strolls, and outings to local parks. With a deep appreciation for nature, Fulvio cultivated a vibrant vegetable garden and kept watch over his neighbourhood from his cherished front porch.

Funeral Services to honour Fulvio’s life will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
