Obituary of Vanessa Lesley McCarney

After an unimaginable 8 year fight Vanessa Lesley (Brown) McCarney passed away quietly on May 9th.

Vanessa leaves behind John, her husband of 49 years, her son Shane, his kids Claire (Clay) & Elise, her daughter Fallon Carter (Jay), their kids Abbigayle & Tristan, a niece, several cousins and a group of really great friends.

She was predeceased by her brother Dudley, her mother Kathleen (Young) & her father Clifford Leslie Brown

Vanessa had a long career with the TSB Canada and an extensive volunteer history including being President of the Kiwanianne Club of Ottawa-Rideau and working many CHEO Telethons & Radiothons

A private family and friends Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date.
