Obituary of Maria Schopf

Maria passed away peacefully and will be dearly missed by her children Michael, Bert, Peter (Nicky Trudel) and Linda (Scott McDonald). She is also survived by her beloved grandchild Tara Mills.

Born in Germany, Maria grew up in Gruiten where she later met Wilfried, her future husband. They emigrated to Montreal in 1960 to begin a new life together and raise a family.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, pets, and the company of many friends and neighbours at her home in Stittsville.

A celebration of life will be held at Pinecrest Visitation Centre; 2500 Baseline Road on Tuesday, July 16 at 2 pm; Reception to follow.
