Obituary of Wayne Charles Lalande

We are heartbroken to announce that Wayne Charles Lalande passed peacefully on Tuesday July 9, 2024 in his 83^rd year with his beloved wife Ann at his side.  Wayne was the only child of the late Manny and Helen Lawson Lalande both of Ottawa. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Ann Lalande (nee Carmanico), and his two daughters Cathy-Ann Kelly (Joe) and Keri Lynn Baxter. He was a loving and cherished Poppa to his 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, Sienna and Olivia.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital especially those in the ICU. Their care and kindness through his last weeks were exceptional.

The family would like to invite family and friends for a celebration of Wayne’s life at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 am with a reception immediately following the service. Interment will be immediate family only at a later date.
