Sincere condolences to Marian’s loving family and friends. Marian was a kind, thoughtful, and classy woman. Réjeanne and I were fortunate to have known her. It was through John that I met Marian, as John and I were both active with the Humanist Association of Ottawa, Population Institute of Canada, and other groups. We always enjoyed the stimulating conversations with Marian and John when we visited them in their condo in Ottawa, and then in later years, at their home in Kanata. Marian’s life was a life well- lived. We are making an In Memoriam donation to Dying with Dignity Canada for Marian. Our thoughts are with you.

It was my pleasure to know Marian and John, a delightful couple indeed; Sally and Suzy too! Such a privilege to be part if their circle of care, and a comfort to know that Marian's final wishes were met. Nurse On Board will make a donation to Dying With Dignity in Marian's name. Wishing family and friends peace and unity during this time of change.

They were appreciative of the care from Nurses On Board and enthusiastic of the services offered. Susan, broke the ice first with John then later with Marian. Making health decisions in a system lacking in time and resources, the house calls from staff and ability to disucss health matters took the intrepedation out of the equation. Thanks again Susan.

Deepest condolences to the family of Marian Thomson - a lovely woman, and a neighbour whom it was a true pleasure to know. Having a similar last name gave me the opportunity for sporadic little chats with her as one of us handed a piece of misdirected mail to the other. My family and I will always remember her wit and good humour.

Thanks Richard. She spoke about you often. Having a supportive group of neighbours meant alot and probably in some small way helped her in her ability to live independently as long as she did. Yes, she had a positive spirit which reminded all of us not to sweat small stuff. She will be missed by her family.
