Obituary of Cecylia Brzezinski
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cecylia Brzezinski, 84.
She passed on October 1, 2024 after a long illness. Cecylia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to many.
Cecylia was born on May 9, 1940 in France. In 1947, she and her family returned to Poland.
She and her husband of 66 years, Roman, raised three children together. They immigrated to Ottawa, Canada in 1977, moved to Gananoque in 1992 and lastly to Kingston in 2002.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Always fussing in the kitchen to produce the most delicious food for the family and entertaining many.
She loved travelling and spending their winters in the warm Belize. She loved the outdoors, nature, and all animals, especially her Kasia (cocker spaniel).
She was a courageous, strong and determined individual, which helped her overcome many obstacles in life.
Cecylia dedicated her life to family and will be remembered lovingly by her husband, Roman; daughters Alina and Bogumila (Silvio); grandchildren George, Andrew (Heather), Steven (Sarah), and Eric; and great-grandchildren Theodore and Oliver.
Guests are invited to a Celebration of Life service at the Pinecrest Remembrance Home 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, on November 9, 2024 at 10:00 am.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice.
