Obituary of Maria Pilar Barresi

It is with great sadness we share the loss of Maria Pilar Barresi, age 82 on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Frank. 

Mother of Rocco, Tony (Lisa), Rosemary (Martin) and Benny (Laurie). Proud grandmother to Laura (Ryan), Megan (Jacob), Brandon, Bianca, Justin and Brayden. She was a proud great-grandmother to James and Grace. She was a big sister to Linda Gonzalez.  A profound and heartfelt thank you to nephew Vicenzo (Fran) for providing care to Maria

Maria was born on August 6, 1942 in Spain and immigrated to Canada with her mother Antonia DePaco for a better life.  She found her true love with Frank and lived a great life together.

At Maria’s request, there will be no visitation. A private family service and interment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery.
