With great sadness, we officially announce the passing of Stephen Paul Stibbe. Steve was born December 21st, 1968 in Edmonton Alberta and passed away November 1st, 2024 in Ottawa, Ontario. Son of the late Hugo Stibbe (deceased 2003) and Agnes Stibbe. He will be greatly missed by his mother Agnes, wife Susan Stibbe, daughter Bethany Peragine (Daniel), sons Sam Stibbe (Dey), Erik Stibbe and Daniel Stibbe, by his three young grandchildren from Bethany and Daniel and his brothers Dave, Mark and Ian and their families.

Steve will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Steve will also be remembered as someone who would initiate and carry on an engaging conversation with anyone. This was Steve's superpower, allowing him to make friends from as diverse a population as we have here in Canada. In his professional life, Steve's true calling was as a passionate entrepreneur, and this was displayed starting in high school and led him to establish several very successful businesses, with his last venture allowing him to achieve the success he always dreamed of.

A memorial service will be held on his birthday Saturday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2C 3H9. A reception will be held afterward to celebrate his life.
